Risk assessment and risk management Work-related stress

The Organization "No Stress" is made up of a group of professionals working in different areas: Human Resource Management, Sociology, Psychology, Communication. In collaboration with the Gesfor, Training organization, it provides support to companies for evaluation and risk management work-related stress, either by intervening in the process of evaluation (according to the INAIL Protocol) both during training and / or prevention where it shows the presence of work-related risks even mild stress.
Many European documents dealing with the issue of the risks of work-related stress (SLC), but only with the Decree-Law 81/2008, the Italian legislation has made it the subject of regulation. "The risk assessment (...) must cover all risks to the safety and health of workers, including those for groups of workers exposed to particular risks, including those related to work-related stress, according to the contents of ' European agreement of 8 October 2004 (...) ".
Work-related stress has a negative impact on the company in terms of employee engagement, performance and productivity, accidents caused by human error, staff turnover and early school leaving, attendance rates, satisfaction with the work, potential legal implications.
All these elements represent for the company obvious costs that could be significantly reduced by applying, in a conscious and participatory, a work-related stress assessment path that is not simply a procedure due to the mere compliance with the law, but also an outlet conscientious company and on the specific risk workers.

Objectives of the evaluation
The Organization "No Stress", has as its objective the prevention and reduction of stress on the workplace through the identification and implementation of improvement measures on work. Our proposal is to provide a service that is able, in an integrated manner, to further the bureaucracy dictated by regulations (mandatory risk assessment work-related stress), but also to develop the issues related to organizational well-being.

The company has the opportunity to engage the entire project ideas, and to get a result on the following dimensions:

  • Mapping areas of the business where the stress level is higher or where it might potentially be, providing a balanced assessment of their current situation and future prospects;
  • Identify an exhaustive list of the main factors of content and context triggers stress at work;
  • Get the proposals on intervention strategies to reduce stress at work and thus prevent cases of bullying, burn-out and related occupational diseases or arising;
  • Having a contribution on possible lines of managerial action to increase the organizational well-being and organizational performance.

Methodology:

The assessment is divided into two phases: a necessary (preliminary assessment); the other if any, to be activated in the event that the preliminary assessment shows elements of risk of work-related stress and / or corrective measures taken following the same, by the employer, prove ineffective.

The Organization "No Stress" as a result of work-related stress risk assessment proposes a number of actions of correction and training for the company.

Improvement actions and monitoring

  • Training: Managers and workers
  • Supervision in the working groups
  • Follow-up: the long distance testing
